A Story by Little Roo!

Hi everyone!! I have to tell you about my Sunday morning! I just got up, had some oatmeal, and my mom "fixed" my hair so I could see where I was going. I was just hanging out in my jammies, minding my own business.
But then it called to me.... the great treasure chest of fun! I wonder what secrets it holds...
It's seriously cold in here!
This is like nothing I've ever tasted!!!
OK, why is it so slippery??
Oh no! I'm losing it!
No problem.... I'll get another one....
This one right here.
Hey there Biscuit... my old pal.... pick up the evidence I just dropped on the floor, will ya?
Uhhh a little more to your left... thanks!
Oh why haven't I found these tasty treats until now???
I shall try the two-handed approach this time.
Darn it! Lost it again.
It's OK, Grammy. You don't need to move your shoes... they hold these treats really well!
Why is everything getting so wet?
Need another treat here...
Hi Mom! No... I'm not doing anything... promise!
I can't get enough! Must have more!
I love my treasure chest!
Who put in this dumb juice box? See ya!
Is now a bad time to mention that I'm sitting in a cold puddle??
Sunday was my Baptism at Nativity. A lot of people that I love came to watch and we had a lot of fun at my house afterwards! Unfortunately Mom told everyone that I was not allowed to play in the treasure chest anymore and I watched for my opportunity but no one left it open.

I'll get someone to post my special pictures when they arrive... but here's me in my beautiful party dress and my Bear!

Bath Fun!

Have I mentioned lately how much we love baths in our house???

And the shampooing is crazy fun!
Get ready for the big reveal....
Ta-da!!! The newest trend in baby hair styles!
Made ya laugh!

The big news of the weekend is Meg has not one but two teeth coming in on top! Her top left front has broken through completely and the one next to it still has the corner sticking out. That front one took us by surprise for sure. It was just there one day!

Saturday Morning at the Park

Big news - Meg has another tooth coming in! One of the corners on her top left side has broke through. The one on the right is close, but has not come through yet. She has been a little cranky.... *sigh*

I'm starting my half marathon training and Meaghan is my training partner, riding along in her BOB! We were out pretty early Saturday morning and after our walk, we stopped off at the park across from our subdivision for some fun!

I was glad that I took my camera along, as we found a bush full of beautiful butterflies!

We found a flock of birds... ... and a bunch of bunnies!
Rolling along!
She wasn't so sure about this swing thing - look at the death grip!
Well, maybe this is not so bad.
OK - this is fun!

Oh a shiny bolt!
Chilling in the swing! My smart dog Biscuit...
... who has learned very fast that the best place to lay is under the high chair! It rains food!
Now we're hoping this tropical storm Fay is blown far, far away. It's going to be a rainy day tomorrow - all schools are closed. Hopefully our power stays on so we can stay entertained watching the Little Einsteins!

Go Team USA!!!

In all seriousness, we love watching the Olympics around here. I've been waiting all summer for these games and the TV has been on every night! Last night was great - Nastia and Shawn going gold and silver!

For fun and nostalgia... an old SNL clip revisited!!

Balloons and Kitchen Pantry Destruction!

There is a definite advantage to going to the grocery store during the day on a Saturday.... we had ladies practically chasing Meg and I around the store trying to give us balloons, crackers, and coloring books! Balloons are a hit around this house!

But balloons only keep the little explorer distracted for so long before the open pantry door is spotted!
Yep... busted!
This is the face I get when I say "Not for babies!"...

Daddy's race drinks and gels come in all sorts of fun packets and tubes.... they also make great noise makers!
The many faces of Meg!!!

OK, back to the balloons!
She's such a little busy bee! I wouldn't have it any other way!
